HELP need book title asap

im looking for a book about unschooling, it follows a group of children and then follows up with them at the end of the teen years... i think its from the 1980's
of course ive tried to google it, library search it, amazon search it and im coming up with nothing...

real lives 11 teenagers who dont go to school, author grace llewellyn

It doesn't really "follow them"... it's a collection of essays written by unschooled teens (and was actually written during the early nineties) about their own lives. Just FYI... it is a great book.

Have you read the updated version? It does "follow" them more with updates on what they did "after" unschooling.
