5 y/o ds came to me this morning to tell me his mouth hurt. He has his 6 year molars coming in so I wasn't surprised. When I looked in his mouth I could see what looks like a blood blister on his partially errupted tooth. The blister is actually on the gums where a portion of the tooth hasn't pushed through yet. Does anyone know if this is a normal thing? I searched the internet and I couldn't find anything about it. He is not in awful pain so I don't think I should place an emergency call to the dentist or should I?

I found this-
it seems that there really is no treatment for it, just to wait until it passes- unless there is a sign of serious infection, like puss. It seems rare- but it does happen.
Maybe he could brush his teeth gently more often to help relieve the pressure from the blister?

Thanks for the information!
I checked his mouth again. There is no sign of infection. Just the blood blister on the part of the gums where the tooth has come all the way in yet.
I thought we were done with all the teething stuff.
