Help ASAP please!!!!

I have posted before about my sons who we adopted from LIberia with dwarfism. Well our youngest has been in PICU for 3 weeks now, and we are now home for 10 days till it has been 3 weeks after his tonsil and adenoid removal surgery. Then they will reassess him, as he has sleep apnea and is on a breathing machine at night and naps. He is much more interactive etc now and its so nice to see him healthy. HOwever they are pretty sure in 10 days they will be doing a tracheostomy, unless he miraculously heals well enough and his airways become big enough to breathe on his own at night.
My question is, I have 10 days to help him heal the best I can. What foods should I feed him that are of most importance.
He only eats VERY smoothly blended foods and seems to dislike any animal protien like beef or fish, or chicken. and so I feel stuck, he throws up egg yolk all hes been eating is yogurt. In the hospital all he ate was mashed potatoes and pedeasure. I almost died every time I fed it to him since its all the most worst food I could giv ehim I know.
Now hes home and on raw milk and 3/4 tsp of salmon, butter, coconut, and cod liver oils, and whole milk yogurt. I got him to eat some pureed beans that I soaked in warm.hotish water for 24 hours and cooked in chicken stock, served with sour cream. He barely wanted to eat this.
Please I need ideas to give him the best chance I can. My DH is going to buy the kombucha tea extract since it seems to be good for airway and respetory issues.
THank you for any ideas Please
Kellie

I am not a medical professional. If he'll take a lot of high-quality raw milk and yogurt, with the supplements you're giving, that might be enough. A "milk cure" used to be pretty common (before raw milk was demonized) for disease treatment and for healing, during which people would take only very high quality raw milk, under the guidance of doctors. Try a thorough web search for raw milk cure or raw milk diet. Have you thought about phone consulting with one of the TF-oriented practitioners? One of them might be able to give you detailed guidance on this, to make sure he gets what he needs nutritionally while healing.

Vitamin C is suppose to be good for healing wounds so if you can up his intake that would probably help the healing process.
The
My only other suggesting would be juicing.
Hope all goes well and he breathes on his own at night.

Is there a reason you are getting the kombucha extract instead of having him drink the tea? I've read that the benefits of kombucha are from drinking live cultures, and there's some doubt about whether tablets (or does it come in capsules?) would work. But I'm no expert.....

Im doing the extract ( its in a tincture, not capsules, the one we are getting) because he is only 16 months and 13 lbs and I can barely get him to eat or drink much so Im trying to get as much milk and real nutrition food into him, and he just isnt wanting to drink much kombucha ( or any really) Do you think the extract wont help? I'd love to know if anyone knows because my dh is planning to drive 5 hours round trip to go get it tomarrow.... any idea?
Thank you
Kellie
