after a painful 3 day induction baby ashton has arrived!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! He was born vaginally on 2-10-07 after 10 min of pushing and ....guess what....you ladies were right he only weighed 7lbs 12 oz!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!: but He is perfect and has made my family feel so complete!!!!!!!!: does anyone know how long it takes for milk to come in???????????

congrats!! I have heard 2-3 days for milk coming in? But no first-hand experience yet!

Congratulations!!! I had a 50 hour induction with my son so I feel your pain!! It wasn't fun! But I'm really happy he's here and that you are enjoying him so much!

Just keep nursing - at least every 2 hours, milk comes in anywhere between 2-5 days. You'll make plenty of colostrum for him in the meantime (that's all he needs right now) so relax and enjoy!

Congratulations! Those long inductions are not fun but you made it through! It has varied for me on my milk coming in from 2 - 4 days. Enjoy your son!

Not in your DDC, but just wanted to say congrats and that it took 3 days with my 1st DS and a full week with DS #2 for my milk to come in fully.
