Have you bought anything for the baby yet?

We picked up an AmbyBaby hammock at a consignment shop for only $50. I'm so excited. We wanted one for Logan so bad but couldn't afford the $400.

We have a fairly short list of stuff we need for this one:

Stroller (Sit n Stand)
Car seat
Cloth Diapers

A few other little bits and bobs like a new mattress for the baby hammock and some new clothes if we have a girl.

We only need dipes (sold all mine...), clothes (again, old mine) and wipes. I would like a mei tai...but we will see.

I did buy off of a mom from mdc some great tie dye...

I haven't bought anything besides fabric and wool. I am knitting up those tiny wool soakers and sewing those cute little newborn diapers. I will need new everything with this little one. DD is 7 so I do not have much still saved at this point.

I bought some yarn to make a teeny tiny baby sweater.

No... unless you count all the extra food I'm eating!

when i go by used baby clothes stores i often go in and pick up something inexpensive. i got some little overalls the other day and have a shirt and some pants. also finishing up a sweater i knit i didn't have to buy yarn for it. i knit it from organic cotton yarn i spun myself several years ago. since this is my first baby and i have no friends with kids i am not counting on getting any hand me downs and i figure if i start collecting stuff now it will make things a little easier later to not have to spend a large amount of money all at one time.

i started knitting a baby blanket, but i'm trying to avoid buying much until we know what the sex is.
