Did make me audibly laugh out loud though! But also makes me want to:Puke
Ok, I have to say I agree with this post, I felt so excluded on my tribe thread because I wasn't "frosted" or "boo'd". My heart jumped when I got the elusive pm that now would enable me to post in my siggy that I was cool and I did right away, I though about it for awhile and removed it. It's just not something I would expect from this type of forum of such evolved mamas that I respect.

Frosted?

OK OK what does this MEAN?

Thanks for moving my question, haha I guess I wasn't the first to ask

I really did search for an answer before I asked though, I think I just found out that I'm not great at the search function

I was surprised to see some people offended because they haven't received the special email! (I really like all these smileys)

And because being frosted is so yesterday maybe someone could post the poem?

~Kerry
Non-frosted but I think perhaps toasted.

In the spirit of inclusion, and to finally end this thread so people can get the answers they seek, can't we just cut and paste the poems here? Why have a secret club? I too am curious about these poems, but not so much that I want to be part of an exclusionary club.

frosted? huh?

Silly question maybe, but what does "I've been frosted." mean?

Merging the frosted threads.

It means that you are part of an exclusive club at MDC, sort of like that 5th grade click.

If you have to ask, (as I did) then you are not a member.

There is no exclusive club. In fact, most people stopped doing it and took it out of their sigs because people where getting all crazy over it. It was just supposed to be a fun thing.

And yet no one has been willing to post it for those not in the club to see.

Wow I feel a little silly. I just read through all five of these pages and things are getting a little heated. I want to be frosted and toasted. There is nothing wrong with hvaing a little fun. Come on everyone calm down. Ok seriously can someone send them to me. I want to be part of the club and I dont think its silly.

I would post it if I still had it, but I deleted a long time ago. It was from before christmas.

Here is the poem:

Jack Frost took his paintbrush
as he sailed across the sky
so every morning as the sun comes up
his artwork greets the eye
there’s reds and golds and yellows
all of a breath taking view
but no matter how hard he tries
he can never make leaves turn blue
so when you’re in bed sleeping
and outside everything seems faint
just remember at midnight
Jack Frost begins to paint

Put the words "I've been Frosted" in your signature, then pass this along to three people at MDC who haven't already been frosted!

It was supposed to spread to everyone, but it mainly stayed in TAO.

I'm all for fun, well maybe not exactly : , I do hate getting all those 'funny' emails that do the rounds in the wider web - I'm just wondering what the moderators think of this kind of behaviour on what is, finally, definitively, a Discussion Board.

HAH! That's easy, frosted is something a cereal has, like Frosted Flakes, and Toasted is something done to bread, usually sliced and put into a toaster.

At least that's what I figured it was...
