Hi all -
Found out 2 weeks ago I am pg again. This is my 9th pregnancy. 2 m/c, then DS 10/02, DS 12/03, then 4 m/c in a row - the last one was this past Thanksgiving at 10 weeks (baby stopped growing at 6.5w)
So, far things seem to be going well. Saw the little babe on u/s with a heartbeat on Friday. I am on twice daily Lovenox injections this time due to a recently diagnosed gene mutation - compound hetero MTHFR. I'm not entirely convinced I *need* the blood thinner - however the perinatologist highly recommended I take it and I didn't want another m/c like the one in Nov (kind of traumatic for me). I have 2 boys, ages 3 and 4, that I did not take blood thinners for.
I hope for another VBAC - my delivery options are a little up in the air right now due to the Lovenox - but I really want a natural birth. 1st DS was a c/s after being induced, water broken, pushed for 3 hours fully dilated, but he wouldn't descend, etc. and second was a natural hospital VBAC (was in labor less than 4.5 hours).
Anyway, just a little 'bout me. Looking forward to getting to know you all and hope I don't have to leave this DDC as I have the last 3 I have joined.
Oh, EDD is 10/05.
