DD#2 had 4 fillings today! Our story...

10 months ago I was given the news that dd#2 had 4 cavities and she would need GA, blah blah blah. She was 2-1/4 then. I questioned the dentist about GA and he asked me if I worked in the medical profession and was very dismissive. I talked to a lot of my friends and was referred to our current ped dentist. He was great. He recommended in the beginning to do GA but spent a lot of time with me explaining the pros and cons of each. We ended up going in every 1 or 2 months to monitor the decay and for dd#2 to get used seeing him. To make a long story short, we went in today. They gave her a little laughing gas (only for the drilling part so about 8-10 min). And instead of only working on the 2 teeth (more decayed) he worked on all 4. He was pleasantly surprised at how cooperative dd#2 was (she'll be 3 next month). She did wiggle a bit especially after he put in the cotton gauze all around her mouth. But she was a champ. I was so relieved. Her teeth looks great now and I hope the resin sticks for a long long time! Just wanted to think this wonderful board for all the support and info I got.
