2nd time...already looking pregnant!

Hello!

Just wondering if anyone else was looking pregnant already! Maybe it's because I have a DC already....but seriously! I know it's bloat, but if I wore the right clothes right now...I could be showing! I'll have to dig out my maternity clothes sooner than I thought!

Not quite yet, but I've heard that's they way it goes the 2nd time around, your body "remembers" being pg. I am hoping not to pop yet as I don't want to tell work. I do have a bit of a tum, but I think I had that before LOL

I have been pregnant 6 times now. I have had 3 miscarriages between 4 & 5 weeks and this is my 3rd "sticky" pregnancy.

Anyway, I have been wearing maternity pants for a few days now and I'm just 5 weeks today!

LOL me too, but fortunately most people I know area aware my 2.5 year wakes in the night, so they won't get suspicious!

I am 9 weeks with #2 and I have definitely gained weight sooner than #1 and I am in great shape but boy my belly is a belly. I don't think anyone else would notice but I do.

well, does still look pregnant from the last time count as already showing? lol i put on my maternity pants the day i got my BFP and haven't looked back! lol

I think I look *slightly* heavier than normal, but all my weight's in my tummy anyway, so that's not much of a change.

im pg with baby 4 and am in maternity at 6 weeks. I can wear one pr of size 14 pants but even w a regular shirt, I ook 4 months pregnant.

I was in maternity at 9 weeks with DD3.

Well I ended up about 10lbs below my prepregnancy weight after I had DS. Which meant I was about 10lbs under weight. I had to go buy all new pants and my prepregnancy pants just fell right off of me. Those clothes are just about fitting me nicely now. Which is kind of cool!

I got my BFP on Sunday and the first thing dh said was, "Well, that explains this (while putting his hand on my belly)". Not what I wanted to hear, but that answers your question for you!

Glad I'm not the only one!

I spent the day digging up my maternity clothes and seeing what I might need to get... I thought...how fun! I'll embrace my belly...but seriously! I look about 4 months pregnant!

What?!? You're 4 weeks like me and you look 4 months!? Wow. Lucky you. I be jealous. I love baby bellies!!

BTW I changed my sig from EDD to expecting, so we look almost identical. I saw the way yours looked and so I got copy-catish. Hope that's okay, mama!

I think I'm showing a bit....either that or I just look really pudgy. You can see my expanding belly if you click on the link in my signature. What's funny is that I felt really pudgy in that 4w photo (that's why I took it).

Those are also morning pictures....I look MUCH more pregnant at the end of the day. UGH!

knowerofnada! Of course it's ok! I love looking at everyone's signatures and sometimes "tweak" mine too!

I look more preg (bloated!) and the end of the day too! I love baby bellies too... we are "done" after this DC~ 2 for us (esp since I am almost 38!!) so I'm really going to embrace this pregnancy even more! (or try to with a busy toddler!)

I hear ya -- I'll be 34 in a couple of weeks, and this might very well be our last, and I am also going to be embracing it more....it's prolly going to make me really sad at the end....but yay for baby!

Should we start a support thread for older mamas? At my old board they had a thread called "Crypt Keepers" for older moms...haha

Love it! "Crypt Keepers"!!! I always wonder how 'old" moms are for some reason....I like the idea though!

The funny thing is, and my DH who will be 40 in May say we "still feel like we are in our 20's!!" Well...most of the time!

I am, one of the reasons we suspected a pregnancy! It looks bigger to me when I look down at my belly then when I look at it in a mirror from the side, I will get dp to take a pic tomorrow. It seems like I didn't show for Hypatia until the 4th or 5th month!

My stretch marks are less noticeable and I have a little belly down low. I think only me and dh notice though.
