I went to the doctor this morning and she's done a complete 180 on the whole induction thing! I was SO mad at her last week, I was ready to start considering looking for another doctor when this is all done and over with. But today, she was very happy that baby and I are both doing so well, she did offer to induce if I wanted but seemed totally OK with me just going home and waiting it out. She was happy about the NST results and I told her I'd already scheduled one for Monday next week. She was happy to hear about all my contractions and when she checked me, she found that although the head is still kind of floating (I know it's normal for second time moms to not "drop" til labor starts), I am 1 cm and 60% effaced! 
: I never got that far with DS. So I am glad that all the work my body has been doing this past week has accomplished something! But the best part is that she is actually totally OK with us just waiting it out as long as we're both healthy.
So now I am feeling much better about this whole thing. Maybe she did not push it because DH came with me! (I'll never know I guess!) But maybe I won't need to see her in the office next week. Wouldn't that be wonderful? I might actually relax and go into labor soon...
