Has anyone seen Blue Ice's new Fermented CLO?? DH is trying to sell regular CLO in the store and the info they sent him also had info on this new product. I was just wondering if anyone had tried it and liked it?? This is what they say:

Green Pasture’s continues to lead the nutritional oils industry in unique product development with its undeterred innovation and imagination. We are proud to introduce the first in a line of new fish oil products that are truly Virgin (non-heated), Clean and rich with essential nutrients.

Blue Ice Fermented Skate liver oil is similar In vitamin A,D,and K and fatty acids as the fermented cod liver oil but it is 4 times richer in vitamin E, 3X DHA plus contains many of the hard to find nutrients found in shark liver oil such as; Squalene, Chondroitin, and Alkoxyglycerols

The Fermented Liver oils do not contain any additives or flavors, just pure Blue Ice liver oil.
What do you think??

We're doing an order for it right now. Overall I think it's great, though for the price, I'll probably stick to the regular Blue Ice CLO for the time being.

(And I've been meaning to ask Dave how they purify it too...) :

Well it sounds disgusting, but then again, cod liver oil is inherently disgusting

Oh! I've been needing this ingredient so that I can make Inuit "ice cream". There's a recipe for this online -you can Google it if you're really interested...

A friend of mine talked to Dave last week, and received the lab results for contaminant levels. EXCELLENT! Many were totally non-detectable, others were in the ppb and ppt. I'm definitely switching to the fermented CLO for my daughter; haven't decided about myself yet.

Why would the fermented oil have fewer contaminants than the regular of the same brand? I thought the regular oil from Green Pastures was safe.

Oops, sorry, I was short on time and didn't make myself very clear, huh?

BOTH of the Green Pastures CLO's are clean - it's just that they let you know upfront how the regular CLO is processed/purified, and they don't say anything about the fermented, which is totally raw. So I was concerned at first glance that the raw fermented CLO might have higher contaminant levels, until a friend of mine called and got all the details.

I'm switching to the fermented for my daughter b/c of all the additional nutrients it provides, particularly the vit K.
