Spotting

Okay, so I just went to the bathroom and I'm having some spotting. Not much but still, it ties my stomach in knots. I'm not having cramping but what signs should I be watching for? Could it just be implantation spotting? I would love some reassurance that this is okay. I remember with DS I had some implantation spotting but right now I can't think of what that was like or when.

How far along are you? Early on it sounds like.

I say just try to relax and monitor things. If it picks up, then give a ring to a dr. I had spotting at implantation time as well as some full on blood during pregnancy. I think at 19 weeks and then at 37.

Baby was fine. Never did figure why I was prone to bleeding. I tend to think b/c of the baby's position and just being so darn full of blood. I got bloody noses, bloody gums. I was a bleeder! :P

I had some (sorry if TMI) brown spotting with DS that turned out to be nothing, apparently if it's brown chances are it's just "old blood" -- red would definitely have me concerned, as would cramping.

Take care of yourself, hope it's just implantation.

I had a lot of spotting when I was 4w. Mine was just old tissue coming out. I'd worry more if it's fresh/red and accompanied by cramping.

Thank you! I didn't have much spotting overnight (or sleep) and what I had was brown. Still no cramping, so I'm feeling more at ease. Thanks for your thoughts!

I had implantation spotting with my one dd. It was red to brown for 2days and then i was done.

Hopefully it's nothing.

If it makes you feel any better I had GUSHES of bright red blood on two occasions in the first 6 weeks of my last pregnancy and everything was just fine. Scared the heck out of me but there was nothing wrong.

I had spotting both brown and red for four weeks with DS. It was mostly spotting but sometimes it seemed like a very light bleeding. We never figured out what it was, but it was the worst four weeks! The rest of my pregnancy was fabulous and DS is very healthy.

I'm sorry you are going through this. I know how scary it is.

Sounds like it is fine, between being old blood and there being no cramping.
