exclusively BFing but got AF...Oing at CD6???

Is it normal to O on CD 6 while BFing? I have a TON of EWCM (more then I ever had while TTC! UGH!) and this was my first PPAF. Heck even the EWCM is still a little blood tinged.... I don't understand how any of this AF while BFing stuff works. DH and I have been talking about trying for another in a few months if my cycle is actually normal but I can't imagine it is if I'm Oing already. I have no problem waiting until much later to TTC again if I have to but I DO want to know what the heck is going on! LOL

THe first few PP cycles are crazy. Usually ovulation is delayed....
but anything is possible. Are you temping? Did you actually ovulate or was it just CM? I would temp to confirm ovulation before just assuming that you ovulated based on mucus alone.... double mucus patches can occur, and if this is not your normal pattern, I would not yet consider yourself "safe" until you can confirm ovulation via temps.
