my mom's coming over in a few hours to babysit while DH and i go for our first dinner out since DS was born...when she gets here, DS will be wearing his new I'm Going to be a Big Brother shirt...i'm so excited/nervous/anxious! acccckkkk...could time go any slower?

I just did this same thing....my parents came over and I put DD in a shirt that says Im the BIG sister. And had her hand my dad the test. It was really cute.

she totally ruined it! she pretended not to see it for a while, then finally cracked, but all she said was "so, this is how you're announcing it? congratulations." she said she's been expecting this for a few months now, so she wasn't surprised at all! bah! she's excited, just not surprised...poo

I did the same thing I did last time, signed my mom's bday card from Baby X -- and just before she opened it and read it, she said "we were just talking about your card from 3 years ago!" So that was kinda funny. Of course, they all claimed they knew because I wasn't drinking wine or coffee (which was a pretty big giveaway, as I enjoy both!)
