I got a BFP on Sunday evening! Then I took another test on Monday just be sure. I *think* my EDD is 10/26 but I'm not 100% sure about that because my cycles have been crazy and I'm not even 100% sure when I got AF last month. I do know when I had sex though !

I'm so happy to be here!

Congratulations on the and welcome!! I see you're a hypnobabies instructor. I would love to hear about your experience with that, whenever you have the time.

I always have the time to talk about Hypnobabies!! I am a fairly new Hypnobabies Instructor (I used to teach HypnoBirthing-the Mongan Method) and my first Hypnobabies student had her baby 1 week ago today! I was honored by being there as the mom's doula and she did a fantastic job using her Hypnobabies tools! Her birthing was very smooth and easy. She had her(first) baby after about 9 hours of labor and only really knew 'this was it' for 5of those hours. My 2nd student is expected to have her baby around the end of this month and I can't wait to hear about it!

If you have any specific questions about Hypnobabies I would be happy to answer them.

They have an EDD calculator on the internet that allows you to put int the date of probable conception, instead of your cycle day. If you can't find it, let me know!!

Great! What made you switch programs? Or how is it different from Hypbirth? How is the home study course? because I would have to leave my children for a total of 6 hours to attend the only class in the state. Have you or anyone you've known personally ever had a painless birth? Just curious.

Is this the calculator? This is my personal favorite because there's so much in the results.

No, that wasn't it. Yours looked like one I'd love, 'til I realized it wouldn't let me change my cyle length from the "median" 28 days to my cycle length of 31 days. Therefore, all the dates were off by 3 days.

But thanks for sharing! I'm sure many ladies will find it very useful!

I honestly don't know how the Hypbirth program is.
The home study course is a great option for those that can't attend a live class. There is also a yahoo group for moms using birth hypnosis so you can get any questions answered (if you aren't attending a live class).

I switched because the HypnoBirthing program really just turned out to not be all that I wanted it to be. It did work great for some and I had a few students that did say that had painless births...but as I began to learn more about hypnosis I learned that there was so much more that these moms could be doing to prepare for a hypnotic birth experience. I also didn't like that it lacked a lot of childbirth education and I had to add to the program which we weren't technically 'allowed' to do.

I'm really happy with Hypnobabies and I can't wait to have this baby using this great method!

Thanks for the calculator!
