ideas needed dont know what to do?!?!

I need ideas i have a dd 4.5 she is out of control 3/4 the time this is the way it has been for 2 years it is so bad that i am at the end i have run out of ideas i dont know what to do with her she use to be so well behaved now it is like a wild child i am well use to dealing with children i use to be a nanny/daycare/babysitter it is killing me that i cant get my own child to listen to me...
i have problems with her listening from small things to big, she ruff plays, breaks things her stuff and other peoples, yells, telling me what i have to do, jumps off/on everything and the list goes on it is a battle every minute of the day she is very smart and gifted and wants to do everything her way and never wants to listen to me or anyone else i have tried every thing i can think of to try to get positive actions from her i need ideas on what i can try to get her to listen to me and get better behavior from her

If a lot of these things sound like your daughter I suggest you quickly go to www.feingold.org and check it out. There is an elimination diet that does wonders. All though we do not use the full feingold diet we found remarkable success in my daughter's behavior by eliminating artificial food dyes and flavors. We are working on elminating any corn syrup right now.

Does she go to preschool, daycare, or any other childcare providers? If so, how does she behave in that setting?

i was thinking of doing the same thing i didnt read the end of the post saw the link and opened it and thought of doing the same you are doing do you have any additional info on eliminating artificial food dyes and flavors?? how long did it take to see a change in ur dd?

she is is homeschooled and is with me everyday

How much sleep does she get? At least 12 hours every 24 hour period?

oh yes she get enough sleep we both sleep 12-14 hours she is like me and need lots of sleep
