Karp coming to nearby city, worth going?

I don't know anything about him although I've seen things mentioned here and there about him on here. Is he GD at all? Is he worth going to see? Would it help my husband maybe who has a hard time with the concept of GD?

I like Harvey Karp. His methods are GD. It would definitely be worth going, especially for your DH. If nothing else, it will help your DH get ideas about what is normal behavior.

What I like most about him is his way of tuning into the child at the child's level and responding to the child in ways that are meaningful to the child, rather than trying to bring the child up to the adult's world and communication style.
