Anyone else enjoying still being pregnant?

I'm not due till the 25th...so I'm not even close to late, but my girls were both over 2 weeks late so it won't surprise me if I have a March baby. I can definitely feel for everyone who is just done, but I'm not quite there . I am really liking the movement and amazement and wonder. And particularly on days when we have nowhere to go, I'm enjoying the calm before the storm. I am loving looking at the tiny diapers and the anticipation and the what ifs and the name game. I love how sweet my husband has been.

I don't really like being pregnant until the very end when it starts to seem so....final. And maybe since I don't think we'll have more, I'm trying to soak up pregnancy now....before it’s too late.

So, anyone else actually like the end of pregnancy?

I was liking it a few weeks ago, but now I don't like it anymore. Sorry...

no if i was having one baby i bet i would be, though. 38+ weeks with twins is just too brutal for words.

mamaglee that sounds so nice
Unfortunately I'm with the others but HEY, enjoy it while you can!
I'm due today and haven't had a single contraction :

I'm due around the same time as you... but nope, I'm over being pregnant. LOL. This is my 3rd day of contractions, so I'm kind of ready for labor and to meet this little one!!

I go back and forth between wanting to just be done and still feeling pretty good. When I wake up in the morning, I feel great and full of energy and good vibes. But by my 2 year old's dreaded bedtime, I am grouchy and grumpy and tired and over it. But I still have 11 days till my due date so I'm trying really hard not to get discouraged or impatient yet. Plus this is my last pregnancy as well and I have not enjoyed much of it so every day is truly a concious effort on my part to be positive. I think next week will be better because I will be done with my daycare for a month or so and can focus more on myself and my home until baby comes.

i was fine until my back went out last night. now i just want him out!!!

Enjoying is not the word for me but rather tolerating.
The only reason I am still ok with it is because we have all had rsv and various other things like pink eye.

I am ready but obviously baby isn't.

Hehehe, I tend to enjoy my entire preggo time until towards the end, least with my first I was totally over it 1 week before she was born. But I've not reached that feeling yet at all. I'm still 'okay' with being preggo but not quite 'in love' with it either. I'm ready to go to my due date which is the 22nd without any issues and hopefully I can keep the positive vibe longer if needed. I'm thinking baby will be coming tho in the next week as my BH's are getting stronger. I said I didn't want a valentine babe and my BH were killer yesterday! And my midwifes dd birthday is today, so I said I didn't want babe to come today either.

Waiting game is fun for us, we don't know the sex of the baby and I'm totally loving looking at the diapers and things. Just finished last night making some new inserts and fixing diapers that needed a little loving from being used with our first dd. Its fun to look at everyone elses pictures and trying to remember how tiny babies are when they come out! It always amazes me so much how tiny they are (and thank god too!).

Goodluck Mammas! Hope your blessings are in your arms soon.

Yep your a freak

I was happy till the day my DD was born...but this time is different. I'm just as healthy but I'm much more whiny...maybe its just because its winter

Glad you are having a great pregnancy!

I'm with you

I am still enjoying being pregnant. I don't feel bad or anything and I think these last weeks or days are giving me more time to get ready for baby. I thought I was the only one that was still enjoying being pregnant so I'm glad to hear that you are too.

Even though I've had lots of aches and pains lately, I'm still enjoying it bc this might be our last if dh gets his way, so I want to savor every second of it!!!! I could do without the flip floppy feelings...one minute I'm excited and confident about the labor and delivery and next I'm scared and thinking I'm nuts to be doing this again. I will be excited to see my new little girl but I'm thinking she won't be here until close to her due date. My youngest two came two days before their edd so we'll see (oldest was wrongly induced so not sure when she would have come). I'm 4cm and 50% effaced so it could be any second but I don't think it will be.

oh that sounds so nice and you make me want to cry!!
seriously, i'm very emotional these days over just about everything.

and no... i wish i could feel the same way as you, but i just want her to come out. come out come out and play with me instead of kicking your little feet at my tummy all day long!!

i'm scheduled for an induction the day after my EDD (my EDD is the 20th) but i'm still not sure if i'll go ahead with the induction, coz i really don't want to choose my little girl's birthday for her. it should be a choice that she's allowed to make, right?

Im still enjoying it and will be mad if baby decides to come yet lol I am looking forward to being able to roll over in bed, but other than that I feel pretty good I potentially still have 4 weeks to go anyway, so of course im not sick of it yet lol

I'm with you mamaglee, although I'm 2 days past my EDD now and have the flu so I'm fine with the baby hanging out for at least a few more days until I get my strength back!
