I'm expecting in September and planning an eco-nursery. Organic crib sheets are easy to find online (love the sage green/pecan stripes), but I haven't found organic nursery bedding sets that are gorgeous and adorable like the custom cribsets you can buy from designers like Wendy Bellisimo, etc.
So, I'm thinking about making my own quilts, bumper, crib skirt, and other accessories from organic fabric. I want a little color, but I do love the same muted colors that organic fabrics and sheets come in. I'll probably borrow the designs from the designers I like, but modify them to work with the colors of organic fabrics I've found.
Just wondering if any of you have ever done projects like this or have seen examples of great eco nurseries online somewhere? I am not a sewing expert and am still looking for inspiration.
Thanks!
Pam
