Our little girl is here!!

After a wonderful natural delivery we finally have our precious daughter.

Llewellyn Pearl
Born on Feb. 9th at 5:24pm
8 pounds 1 ounce
20 1/2 inches long

She actually came out on her due date!! Amazing. Birth story to follow. And pictures, if I can figure out how to do it. It's taken me this long just to post her birth. We're completely in love and enjoying our babymoon. I still can't believe my little girl is here. She's incredibly beautiful!! Nursing like a pro and gained all her weight back already!!

Hang in there all those still waiting for their babies! My thoughts are with you. I'm sure you're all sick of seeing birth announcements. You'll be there soon. Thank you for answering my stupid questions and offering your kind advice. Hopefully we'll all see eachother at "Life with a babe". It'll be nice to chat with mamas who have babes the same age. Oh and all those first time expectant moms...do me a favor....snuggle right up to your partner in bed tonight. Snuggle and spoon.

Congratulations on the birth of your daughter!! I am SO happy things went so well, and that nursing is going well too! I'll be looking forward to pictures when you get a chance to post them, no rush though... enjoy your babymoon!

Thank you everyone! It's so wonderful to get positive baby-lovin' vibes! I forgot to tell everyone that we'll be calling her Ellyn for short. Makes it a little easier on her in grade school.
We had our 1 week pediatrician visit today. I can't believe it has been a week!! She got such an excellant report. She now weighs 8 pounds 5 ounces...and her doctor said she is very impressed with how well Ellyn is doing. She also said (as she watched me breastfeed) that I could give talks on nursing! What a laugh! I'm only a first time mom.....but what a compliment. : It made me feel so good!
