This morning I woke up to bloody show! I had a really bad night's sleep last night, woke up to pee 1,000,000 times and could not get comfortable - I'm having some mild contractions right now that don't feel like BH, yet they aren't overwhelming at all. I know it could be today or it could be a few days from now, but at least I know my body is gearing up...

We should time these things, not sure whether to send DH to work or not. He has a little over 1/2 hour commute, then it's another 1/2 hour plus to the hospital. I sure don't want to go in until we have to...

Yay Liz!! That's awesome. I started with bloody show in the middle of the night the night before I went in to labor, so I'm routing for you that labor is in fact imminent!! (I also couldn't sleep after I saw it --- too exciting!) It is so great that your body just knows what to do.

Can your DH work from home? You never know how quickly labor will go, particularly since this is number 2 for you and your body is already gearing up.

Thanks guys

My (very mild) ctx are about 7-8 min apart, then I stopped timing them. I'm having more to drink, then I'm going to get up and do a few odds and ends. It's way too cold to go for a walk outside and I don't really want to pace the hall, so I'll see if I can get things moving a little!

I lost my mucus plug about an hour and a half ago, and did some puttering around. I'm about to put DS down for a nap, and if I'm sleepy, I'll nap too maybe, for a bit. Still having contractions but it's nothing I can't handle, and DH has been a huge help, I'm glad I asked him to stay home today!
