A doula near me saw it and said the same thing, pretty much.

A midwife I know also wasn't thrilled with the film. And she wondered if after the producer's wife's homebirth, it was really necessary to transfer the baby to the hospital. I watched the video of the producer giving a talk (on the web site), and it wasn't really my cup of tea. The trailer itself was nice.

Yes, I had the same thoughts about that birth. I just feel like so many people will see that movie and come away with the thought: 'See, THAT is why I would never have my baby at home.'
