inner thigh shooting pain?

Anyone experience this? I get these shooting pains in my inner thighs (usually just one leg at a time- thank heavens), normally during a contraction (been having contractions for pretty much 4 days now- nothing super intense) but sometimes it seems like just walking around I'll get this shooting pain that almost brings me to the floor. Maybe just the fact that I'm petite and have a fully cooked baby in me pushing on everything? Or maybe my labor is going to be felt in my legs?

Thanks

I get something similar from the baby pinching nerves.

I feel you pain - literally! I just got back from the chiropractor for shooting pain and numbness in my inner and top thigh. She said it was because the baby had shifted and was pressing on a nerve. She recommended an underbelly pregnancy support belt to help get the weight off the area (I have a few more weeks to go). I wouldn't stress about it with regards to labor because your baby will either move before, during, or both. In the meantime try to stay off your feet if possible and if you do have a belt, wear it when you are active for up to 2 hours at a time. HTH.
