I hear you. My pubic symphysis hurts so badly. I feel like my legs are the wings of a wishbone and I'm being ripped in half. What helps me is sitting cross legged with my back straight and my legs as open as possible, kneeling on the floor with my legs far apart, or getting down on all fours, again with my legs far apart, and with most of my weight on my knees and forearms.
Laying down or sitting regularly makes it hurt terribly, though.
Soon it'll pass, right? RIGHT?!?!?!?
