My first came 17 days early and I was at 3.5cm for 24 hours and went from 4 to 10 and pushed him out in 80 minutes after the MW broke my waters. My DS was a big boy and I'm glad he didn't wait until the due date.
Now #2 is due in September and I'm doing a homebirth but the midwife will need to drive 90+ minutes. I'm curious as to when I need to tell her to "come NOW" and wonder how much it might correlate with the timing of the first born.
Survey says??
Xander's Mama (who I guess will need a new name once this one comes!)

: - 10 hours of labor, way too many interventions - ending in unnecessary C-section.
- 12 hours of labor and 40 minutes of pushing

Only the last 20 minutes hurt and that was transition & pushing. Only took two pushing contractions and he was born! I called the midwife at 12:20 and said "I *think* this is it" and he was born at 4:34am.
