My cycles have gone off the charts! WTH??

I was dx'd with PCOS years ago from a history of totally whacky periods...longest space (before childbearing) was 9 mos between AFs.

I've hit a new whacky though.
I had a light 1st PP AF in Sept.
A somewhat normal one in Oct.
Nothing in Nov.
A THREE WEEK long one with pretty heavy bleeding in Dec.
I am now a month into my Jan period with no end in sight. In fact had a huge clot earlier, and soaking super tampons. :

This really sucks. I've been abstinant since July 9th due to marital problems so I'm not pregnant/miscarrying or temp charting either.

Sorry I'm whining. I just don't know what to do. Does this mean I'm deficient in something? Should I try taking something? I'm really lost, I've never had this before.

I didn't reply because I didn't want to scare you. One of my co-workers had heavy bleeding for long periods of time and it turned out to be a type of endometrial cancer. she had to have an endometrial ablation and some other stuff (she quit around the time she found out and we haven't stayed in tough). I would get into contact with a HCP and run it buy them to rule out anything serious.

Thank you for posting. I'm not offended by the truth so I'd much rather have all input than none. My DH is worried. He said earlier, shouldn't you be worried after your rupture? I don't think it could be related, it has been almost a year. I don't have health insurance otherwise I would have already gone in. If it doesn't taper off soon I think I will have to bite the bullet.

do you qualify for state insurance or medicaid? I would want to have bleeding like that checked out. It could just be a hormonal imbalance, but there are other things it might be too. I hope you find some answers and get some relief - I've dealt with 2-3 week bleeding as a teenager and it was horrible to deal with. turned out to be a hormonal imbalance and nothing more, but it was not fun to deal with.

I'm not sure if it relates to your rupture. I don't know much about uterine rupture. Hopefully you'll get some more responses here
