It finally happened!!

We had our little girl Monday morning, at 9:41 am. Her name is Sophia Katherine, she is 8 lb 12 oz and 19 inches long. I was in labor several days but pushed her out, squatting, in about 3 contractions - less than 10 minutes! My doctor didn't make it and the nurse caught her! We spent almost 26 hours in labor and delivery before she was born!

I did have medical interventions that I did not want but that's just how it worked out... I would not have had the strength to make it through such a long labor if I had not agreed to them. Will post birth story later.

Everyone was WONDERFUL in the hospital!

Your daughter was born on my birthday and your son was born on my older brother's birthday. same age spacing too. oh and my brother's first name is William but he goes by his middle name. cool!
