egg yolks out of carpet?

does anyone know how to get dried egg yolk out of carpet? ds1 decided while i was out of the room to get intot he fridge and throw eggs all over the floor. : most were contained to the kitchen, but a couple managed to escape onto the carpet and now there is a big icky, crunchy spot. help? TIA!

Put some wet towels over the area, so it gets all soft again. Then scrub. My dd did this and 10 years later there was still a faint yellow stain. You mght try some oxyclean in your scrub water and see if that helps take it up.
