So im trying to practice tying on my hug a bub wrap and i am just not doing a good job. im doing everything just like the lady on the instructional tape. I end up with somewhat ok looking but VERY sloppy version.
I *think* it should work better when I dont have the big belly on me right?

Yeah, I remember trying the wrap while I was pregnant. I was using one of dds dolls. And it was horrible. I actually didn't have any leftover to tie it. I was so upset that I had made it too short until my dh said"Umm, you won't have that big of a belly when you are wrapping the baby" Oh yeah...But it was always a mess, looked horrible. And then I just gave up and decided that I would stop messing with it until I actually had my baby. Now, it still took a few times to get it down, but then I turned into a wrapping pro. So don't be discouraged by a messy looking wrap. Though looking back on it, I wish I had practiced more. Because if nothing else you get the movement down and if you get the way it should be done at least you are sitting there watching video/looking at pictures with your baby and getting frustrated.

I received a new wrap I had ordered just yesterday and was just dying to try it out, but I knew my big belly would sort of "contort" things. With my first wrap, it took me several tries without a big belly to get it right, but eventually it became second nature. Since you're watching the video now, you'll probably have an easier time working with it once your baby is here.
