I had a baby....

Maya Rose born February 16, 2007 .... in a completely natural hospital birth. I progressed quickly and it was really painful! : I haven't been on because we have been working on nursing sooo much.... I am really struggling with it. I think today went better though.

The nursing is a little better but still a struggle.... for one thing she has a favorite breast already and I have trouble getting her to eat at all from the other one....

Well.... that can be fixed later on maybe? My dd and ds both just nursed off one tho- try to not do that. Pump the one she is not liking and keep the milk supply up and drained.

It took me awhile to get adjusted with every baby but this one. I think that is because I was still nursing dd1. Congrats on your daughter and your natural birth! I love her name!

Maya Rose Congratulations!!!

With the breast preference...we had the same thing. Check the direction of your nipple (pointing in which direction) and make sure that she is positioned appropriately. Also, if your nipple is flat--a minute of pumping will pull it out for Maya to latch on better.
