Frugal plastic baggies?

This may seem like a strange question but:

how do you make your plastic baggies last longer than just one use? I HATE throwing them away after just one use so I tend to rinse them out and reuse but it kinda drives DH crazy to have plastic bags drying everywhere! Is there a better way to freeze leftovers than to use the bags? What is the best brand for washing/reusing/freezing : ...any and all input is appreciated!

You might check out this thread that discusses using something other than plastic for storage in freezer and fridge.

Someone around here makes PUL "baggies"--she's a WAHM, and I went to her site once, but we were broke at the time and I couldn't get them. Maybe post on the TP or TAO looking for her? Or, if you sew, you could make your own. I buy the heavy duty baggies (on sale with coupons) and rewash them until they don't close anymore, but I don't use that many. That may change when my DD is in school all day though!

I wash all baggies and other bags (bread bags and such) and reuse them. It's that simple.
