I thought I read that there was a link between c-sections and the babies having pneumonia - but I'm not positive.
I have a friend who just had her second c-section baby - and her second experience with a newborn in the NICU for pneumonia.
I'm so heartbroken for her - because she wanted to nurse her first baby and just *couldn't* do it. She is going through a bit of the post partum blues and I'm not going to lecture her - but I'm kind of curious and kind of worried... She seems so sad that this is *her* normal birthing experience.
I feel so bad for her - it's like my nightmare birthing experience...
On a side note -anyone know where I can find out different hospital's c-section rates?
