So I guess I'm nervous because I don't want to confront obstacles or grief in order to manifest the TM.

Also I read a thread urging a MDCer to do a TM bec something about 27 degrees of Aries...can someone explain this to me?
TIA!
just bumping to get attention

I think if you ask any of the people who experienced some bumps... they will say now on the other side of those bumps, it was totally worth it.

but before you focus on a treasure map.. I think you might need to do a little inventory...ask yourself a question...

am I keeping myself 'small' out of fear?

and if the answer is yes.. ..then I would imagine if you did a build a treasure map and you did allow yourself to fully wish and want and desire and ultimately attract those things that you place on your map... yeah, if you are keeping yourself small, there probably will be bumps.

my girlfriend used to have an expression (which I believe she 'borrowed" from someone..) but it went like this... "if the climb doesn't kill me, the altitude will.." and what she meant was that when one reaches out and stretches and heads off for some lofty place..well, it can take work... and then when you get there.. you have to be able to live in thinner air.

For example.. I have worked my entire life in the entertainment business and have been around a lot, I mean a lot of famous people in front of the camera and behind the camera. And they can not hang out in small thinking.. they can't get too bogged down in what others say... gossip, nonesense.. they have to remove themselves from it. And for godsakes.. look at OPrah. If you work for her you have to sign an nondisclosure agreement meaning you can NEVER write anything about your expeirence working on her show or with her ever or she'll sue you. That's how she does it... she needs to stay above the fray and she's got lawyers who help her... that's what really super high alttitude does..
now I use that as an example.. but now lets get down to earth with all the rest of us... if you want to upset a world.. get a nice new home.. get a new outfit.. lose weight, get a raise a work... watch out people's feathers get ruffled....

so, sure being small will keep from rustling feathers.. but I think it is at a cost.

So, I say again..are you keeping yourself small out of fear?

does it still work? if the answer is no.. then I say, get out of your way.. take a deep breath.. and build a fantastic treasure map. And I say to heck with the rest! I have rustled a lot of feathers.. and I'm so grateful for it all. I really do have a very nice life.. but I would not had I stayed small. And just to be clear this is not a post about money... this is about really having a fruitful abundant and fun life.

Tracy - THANKS so much for the thorough and thoughtful response. the first things that popped into my head in response to my questioning about the bumps in the road...why would the universe (higher power for some) want to "get" me if i ask for abundance? and the answer is...it wouldn't! unless i had a lesson to learn in it, maybe. it is so funny that you ask about fear...many of my friends and family have called me courageous...foreign travel and living, my artwork, worked with adolescent girls in lockup, etc. BUT...the thought of asking big for MYSELF...made me second guess the process. i guess it is human nature (maybe it's a woman thing or just a maceymom thing) but one doesn't want to look greedy. hmmmm....much journaling to be done.
thanks again.

and for those of you who are reading this...are you keeping yourself small out of fear?

Thanks! Good to know... I better get posting! Does each post count? (Like this one?).
It is 50 posts *and* 60 days. Yes, each post counts.

Okay, this sounds really cool. I am not at all spiritual, and I haven't read the entire post yet, but I'm definitely interested anyhow.

I'm going to sub to this and look around for the other threads on another night soon. Thanks.

So Tracy, would the four days end this on Thursday the 20th, or Saturday the 21st? I'm not sure if I am supposed to count the 17th as the first day, or count from the 17th. TIA!

7:35 am or pm? Should I go shopping for magazines after 7:30 on that day, or would it be better to get the magazines on the 17th, before 7:30 so I'm ready at 7:30? Does any of this make sense?
7:35am, eastern time. And go shopping *after* 7:35am that day.

questioning spirituality

How can anyone "not" be spiritual? I think humans are spiritual by nature. Spirituality can be defined in many ways. What do you all think?

Iam, I believe the mods here had to make a waiting period for some of the forums because they were getting trolled up. People who have no desire to be a part of the mdc community were coming in --unloading their opinions and then moving on... or worse coming here to attack.... the forums who got the most hits were the ones that now have the waiting period....

I had a feeling someone would take me up on that.
Define spirituality for me, and I will tell you how I feel.
I don't really want to get into it too much, because I don't really feel that's the point of this thread. But I can at least try to elaborate, or correct my statement if need-be.

Audrey:
"subbing" means subscribing. people use that to make a post to a thread that they are interested in so that it shows up in their list of "subscribed" thread under their UCP - User Control Panel (that's at the top of your screen, left had side of the user navigational links). there is also a link to subscribe at the top of the thread in those nav links also, but i think a lot of people do it this way because it's like a friendly "Hello! I am intrigued by what you are talking about so I want to listen, and maybe I will chime in later. Please, continue!"

Defining Spirituality

Bjorker, I could make another thread perhaps? That is my point also, my definition of it may not fit yours, however that doesn't mean you can't have a 'differing' definition. I define it as being in touch with oneself at the core level (at the heart rather than the head). This can be through religious means (a church community) or any other creative means (art, sports even). Audrey
