twins and cloth diapers - Page 2

Depends on what you want (fitteds, AIOs, pockets, etc), but whatever you chose, I would go with a "one size". This way you can use them longer (more bang for the buck) and you don't have to worry about one twin being in one size and needing a dif one for the other.
I like SOS for one size fitteds and Wonderoos for one size pockets.

For those of you who used prefolds/fitteds and covers, how many did you have?

I have about 4 dozen diapers (mostly fitteds), but 8 covers. Should I get more covers?

Haven't bought yet, but after reading multiple threads here, am planning on 10 covers in size small and then 8 per size after that. Thinking of getting a few preemie size Prowraps as well. For prefolds, I'm getting preemie, infant, and premium. Haven't decided on how many yet.

We CD too. I started in sposies because I had never done it before but once they were around 5 months we jumped right in. I would never go back now! We love, love, love our cloth diapers and even though I have splurged on some special ones a few times, we have still saved tons of money. we have a mix of a lot of different diapers and most of them have worked fine but if I could do it over I would just get some prefold and prefitteds with Bummis Super Whisper Wrap cover and be done with it. I am just getting ready to try making some recycled wool wraps because everyone keeps telling me they are even easier. We shall see! Congrats on your twins!

Depending on how often you want to wash, I would recommend buying more covers. We have 12 I believe and alot of the time we could use more. Mine tend to poop ALOT! As for prefold, I have about 18 but I have another 20 diapers to go with it. If it was me, I would want 4 dozen in each size, at least 3 of each for sure. That would have you washing between every other day to every 2 days. HTH

Once the twins are here, I'll have 3 in diapers... and a small washing machine. I'm just planning on doing 1 load a day or more if needed. If washing every day, I'm thinking 3 dozen preemie (to be used as doublers, etc. later on), 3 dozen infant, and 2 dozen premium. I'm also thinking that they may not always be in the same sizes as well since they're most like fraternal.
