I'm really confused! I am on CD 36. About 4 days ago, after BD'ing, I noticed some spotting (a whole 2 seconds of it) Then over the past couple days, I had maybe 3 minutes total of spotting. I tested negative 3 days ago (CD 33)
I started Metformin in November, and have noticed since I have been on it, that my cyles have been extremely light and short. I dont know whether or not to count this extremely light spotting as a new cycle or not. I even had some *menstrual-like* cramping, which is why I have been confused. I know I spotted a little yesterday, but then thats it, done. So, as a vote, should this be considered a new cycle?
I really need to stick to charting, I guess I would know more if I did. I am pretty sure I am coming off an anovulatory cycle.
So, any thoughts? Does Metformin cause really light cycles? I used to have 7-8 day periods that were extremely heavy. My last 3 cycles (all since on Metformin) have been 3-4 days, and light. Anyone else have this experience? Before the Metformin, I went 5 months without AF (had a Provera-induced AF) so I am glad I am getting cycles, but i had a 19 day cycle, and a 29 day cycle, so I dont know what this is going to be, but before the Provera and the Metformin, I normally had 33 day cyles, but have been annovulatory for about a year.
Any insight would be great. Thanks ladies!
