bloody nose?

Anyone else having this problem? I was having one every day in the second trimester, but I thought I'd cured it by upping my iron. Then yesterday I had the worst one ever. Maybe it's because the weather has gotten cold again and we have the heat back on? I do not like it.

I'm sure the weather plays a part in it but I think a lot of it has to do with your increase of blood during pregnancy. My nose bleed a few times during my last pregnancy but not at all this time. I try to run a humidifier every so often to help with the dry air too!

I asked my mw this very question this week, and her thoughts are that it's the dry weather, etc. I asked her about increased blood and nosebleeds (I had some a few weeks ago) and she said that it's likely not related.

I had a few in the 2nd trimester and just this last week they've been hitting me again. Nothing too major, but a little weird since I'd never had a nose bleed before getting pregnant. Wasn't really sure what to do even.

I'm hoping it's just the change in weather around here again. C'mon rain!

I've had more this pregnancy than with the others. I really think it's a combination of the weather and sinus junk with me though. I try to keep the humidifier running at night too...that seems to help a little bit. Does your nose/throat...any of that...feel dry?

I guess my throat does feel dry when I first wake up. I keep thinking the bloody nose is a sign that I'm doing something wrong-- nutritionally.
