When was your 2nd child born?

my mom has a fun theory that most (not all, of course!) 2nd babies are born very close to their EDDs, and so far every mom of more than one i've asked has backed this up. i'd love to hear how accurate it is here. it's important that you answer about your second child and not your 3rd, 4th, etc, but if you want to add something about when your other children were born, i'd love to hear it! thanks!

My second was 20 days early. My Mother's second was 2 months early. For both of us it was the baby born furthest from his due date.

My closest was #3 who was born the day before her due date and my Mom's third (me) born ON my due date

#1 was born 2 days before and #2 was born on.

my ds2 was 13 days past is edd...both my boys were born the day after the non-stress test...funny, huh?

DD was born on her due date. (Can't really compare with my other kids, because #1 was born a week early by induction, and #3 isn't quite here yet!)

DD1 was born at 39 wks, 5 days and DD2 at 40 weeks on the dot...so as much as I mock "due dates," my kids so far have cooked according to textbook! Let's see what DC3 does...

My second was 2 weeks early.

My second was the furthest from her due date of my 3 kids--5 days late. My other two were 4 days late and 4 days early.

ds2 was born about six days from his due date (as was ds1, actually).

My first was born one day after the EDD and the second on the EDD.

I probably mess up the results, but #1 was 4 weeks early and #2 was 7 weeks early. So yeah, nowhere near the due date, lol.

I voted +/- one day, but I'm probably not the best example, because so far all 4 of my babies have been +/- less than 10 hours from their edd going by my lmp. None have been born on their edd though; 2 the day before, 2 the day after. The closest was my second, coincidentally enough, at 7 minutes after midnight, so just barely the day after his edd.

My first was two weeks late. My second two weeks early. So the second time around I had a month less pregancy and also was WAY behind in preparations because I was expecting a late baby....

My first was 6 days early. My second was 12 days past the edd. I do think my body tried to go into labor earlier than that, but because of her positioning (I think...I'm not a doctor, nor do I play one on tv ) it stopped.
