#2 was born at 37.5 weeks

DD1 was born at 41weeks 6 days. DS1 was born on the EDD. However, I had PTL and was 7 cm dilated at my 40wk appointment so the CNM broke my water. She was afraid I wouldn't make it to the hospital... DS2 was born at 37 wks (CNM stripped my membranes without my permission....) DD2 was born at 38 wks.

The funny thing about DS2 was that he was born on my EDD for dates. The ultrasound put me back 3 weeks and he checked out at 37wks. The theory is that since I was still breastfeeding, my ovulation was delayed three weeks. So if you want to get sorta technical, both my DSs were born on their EDD!

wow! thanks for all the responses, ladies! so far 12% were born on the EDD, which is interesting considering only 4% are "supposed" to be born then...maybe my mom's onto something...? lol

My second was one day early (or if you go by the ultrasound's prediction -RIGHT on tim!)

Both my kids were born at 41 weeks and 1 day. Both on a Monday afternoon too.

My 1st was 4 days before the EDD- boy 7lbs 4 oz
My 2nd was 10 days after the EDD- girl 8lbs 15 oz. (vbac)

My second was born the day before his due date (based on ovulation).


First was 13 days early (induction) and third was six days late.

My 2nd DD was born on her EDD w/ absolutely no induction/augmentation.
