Calling All Maine Moms That Support Homebirth!

Hi All! Sorry if this is not the right forum to post this in, just thought it would get most readership here~

Looking for Mainers that support to come to the Benefit for Midwifery March 4th at Slates Restaurant in Hallowell from 6-9pm.

Join us in a celebration of homebirth with music, food and friends. Donations and silent auction will benefit the Maine Association of Certified Professional Midwives***. Music by Steve Jones (of The Boneheads) and friends. Silent Auction will include donations from some of central Maine’s finest artisans and businesses. $10 per person or $20 per family at the door.


*** The Maine Association of Certified Professional Midwives is raising money to fund legislation in Maine for homebirth midwifery. This legislation will help make homebirth more accessible to Mainers in the future. For more information about the legislation and fundraising efforts go to www.macpm.org.

If I wasn't so damn uncomfortable and 39 weeks along I would certainly come. Good luck in march, great idea. I wished I was 6 months or something, as Maine is just around my corner- and you never know, I might want live across the border one day! Hope the event has a great turnout!
