miles was born at 4am this morning. I woke up at 2am to the same contractions that have woken me up in the middle of the night 10 other nights, and this time I was sick of not knowing if any progress was being made so we called the mw at 2:30 to check me (would have been my first check.) she got there at 3:15 and i had been in the tub, so i decided to get out, go to the bathroom and then let her check. i was expecting her to say high, thick, and closed and i was sure i was silly for calling them. while i was in the bathroom i had another contraction and to my utter shock i had tons of bloody show. (my dd was born 45 min after i saw bloody show so i knew this was it!!) i came back to the mw and said "don't worry about checking me!" And sure enough, 45 min later i was holding my cute little boy!
he was born at 39 weeks
9 pounds!

super healthy and totally laid-back
he's so chubby!!!!
