Scheduled C/S Turned VBAC! Woo Hoo!

Well, i was supposed to have a c/s for my breech baby the 20th. We rented a hotel the night before with a pool and did headstands in it like someone here suggested and it did a lot of moving around but i didn't want to get my hopes up. We went to the hospital the next morning and they started prepping me for my surgery and i kept asking when i was getting my ultrasound. Everyone just looked at me funny and kept saying, "but sweetie, your babies breech, we can see his head sticking out right there." (pointing at the large round thing sicking out above my belly button) So they got my blood work, ran the IV, hooked me up to the fetal monitor, and my husband got fitted in his scrubs and the anesthesiologist came and started explaining everything he was going to do, yada yada, he was such a jerk.: I was just getting ready to start throwing a real hissy fit for my ultrasound i was promised when here comes my doc in the room pushing the glorious machine. The plopped the receptor down on that obvious bump of a head and got....Nothing! They slowly moved it down and my wonderful doctor says, "There's a head in your pelvis!" He then patted the obvious "head" sticking out and said "here's a nice rumpus" Everyone in the room just gets quiet and looks at me. I start crying like a baby and laughing at the same time. He then checks my cervix and i'm dialated and 75% effaced. He then asked me if i wanted to be induced because i was very favorable and the nurse even muttered something about me having contractions already. Being 2+ hours away from home and still a bit in shock and still worried the baby might flip over again i said : yes.

So they started a little pitocin at 8:00 am and 6:01 am the next morning I pushed out a beautiful baby boy in 15 minutes! (i'll write a more detailed account of that one later, it was....interesting)

Word got around the hospital fast that room 328 was a scheduled breech c/s, flipped in a swimming pool to head down, induced, VBAC, and pushed out in 15 minutes!

Anyway, this was really long but i just had to share and Thank everyone again for their support.
