Possible TMI: Feeling of heaviness "down there" at 11 weeks post-partum

Maybe this is TMI, I don't know, but where else am I going to ask such a thing? When things were healing "down there" in the few weeks following the birth, I definitely felt a feeling of heaviness or gravity increased bloodflow or something. But that stopped once everything healed up and since then I've been feeling quite normal and active. I do kegels when I think of it, if that makes any difference. Take a lot of walks. You know, normal daily life. But in the last few days, that feeling of heaviness has come back. Do you know what I mean? What is this? Is it cause for concern? Anyone have any thoughts?

I don't have the answers, I just know that for almost 10 weeks after DD2's birth I delt with the same (I assume?) heaviness. I just kegel'd, kegel'd, kegel'd. It eventually went away. I know I had all sorts of fears about uterine prolapse or bladder prolapse. Don't even know if those are genuine medical conditions. I just knew it felt like things were just going to plop right out.

I just wanted to say it was a full 9 months before everything felt "right" with my body.

I felt like my guts were going to fall out for about a month, maybe a little more. I never felt like kegals brought things back to pre pregnancy shape. They did help, just didn't make everything like it was (DH says everything is back into shape though ).

I still (3 years +) feel like my pelvic floor is looser. I can kegal from a "basement" I never had before, and reaching the "top floor" takes effort.

I'm more sore and heavy when my bowels are full and getting ready for a BM.
Healing just takes lots of time, lots of time, lots of time...

it sounds like varicose veins. doing kegels while your butt is in the air and your head on the bed/floor can really help.
