3/4 times I was at home when labour started. Once I was at a midwife appointment when I started having contractions about 5-10 minutes apart. Labour didn't really pick up until I got back home though. I wasn't even totally convinced I was in labour until I got home. Both my midwife and her back up (who my appt was actually with) were convinced long before I was and were very unsuprised when my dh called 3 hours after the appointment.
