Problems with Stretchrite?

Thread Starter
Has anybody had problems with stretchrite elastic holding up? I switched from knit elastic to stretchrite about 2 months ago, and now the elastic is already shot in some of the AIOs I made. I'm so upset because I sold a couple diapers using that elastic and have to contact the buyers to see if they need it replaced. I guess I was wondering if it was just me? Maybe I just got bum elastic? I bought it from One Stop Diaper Shop, so I assumed it would be good. Any thoughts? Thanks.

Hmm, strange. I've heard stretchrite "soft stretch" elastc dies quickly, but the polybraid usually lasts. I wonder what kind you got?

StretchRite no longer manufactured in USA

Many people have noticed that the quality of stretch rite is not what it seemed like it used to be. That is because they no longer have StretchRite manufactured by Rode Island Textile here in the United States. The company has chosen to have it manufactured overseas in India. The quality of the elastic is no-longer the same which is quite disapointing to me.
