Talk to me, mamas, about discharge.

Because I love you and there's no one else in the world I can ask except my midwife.

hmm. I use paper towels for panty liners. I'm cheap.
I hate discharge on my underwear! I know its clean and white, but ...yuck!
for my bit of TMI: if I don't line my underwear my little dog ( I have two) will go and lick them right out of the hamper. YUCK!

Anybody have any changes in color or anything?

I would just be happy to have discharge. I am always really dry, its truly awful. Esp since I have to pee so frequently thus wiping frequently. I get sore! Every day I get up I hope to see some discharge, how pathetic am I?

lol I don't think that's pathetic, but maybe a happy medium? NOT changing pantiliners every twenty minutes?

I have to sit in certain positions and avoid others entirely because of what will happen if I don't watch it.

NOOOOO MOOOOORE LAUUUNDRY!!!

I've been using pantyliners 24/7 for weeks. The amount varies by day and how up and active I am. The color also varies from clear to milky/white to yellow. delightful, huh

I am with you, Full Heart. I actually have to blot instead of wipe ebecause I am so dry. Must be an Arizona thing?

When I do have discharge it is more "mucousy" than regular discharge, does that make sense? Kinda like uncooked egg whites instead of like yogurt. Color can be clear, to milky white, to yellow.

And I have to admit that I am checking the TP every time now, just like in the beginning. Only this time instead of checking for spotting I am hoping for a mucous plug.

I am having a bit of yellowish/brown discharge with a wierd odor (not bad, like an infection, but odd). And a bit of very light barely noticable spotting. I still have two weeks left! I only have to change my pantiliner once/twice a day, so still not too bad. I will be checking with the MW about the spotting. I almost thought it might be a touch of amniotic fluid, since I am low on fluid and insulin-dependent GD.

I get a neat gush of discharge in the mornings so I wear pantiliners then...and sometimes when I'm more active than normal I'll just ooze discharge all day long, which is so neato. I try to give my crotch a break to breathe and go at least part of the day w/o a liner because I seem to be so moisture sensitive and get yeasty at the drop of a hat...but that often means I'm going through tow pairs of panties (at least ) a day when unexpected surges of goo happen.

Clear, white, light yellow...I'm always checking now for browns and reds too. A little early, but a girl can hope!

Sooooo muuch discharge. and if I haven't watched my water intake, I get a little acidic and it itches. (way TMI?) Some days if feel as if I am constantly leaking- if I had to chose one physical reason for wanting to give birth- this would be it.

I do the same thing. I never lost mine with DD. I just hope that I don't have any problems this time around. I want my VBAC.

It just feels so funny to constantly check the TP for the BIG hope of mucous plug. It cracks me up, but what are you gonna do. I am over the smell, I am over the changing undies all of the time, I am over the sore from over wiping peeing every three seconds.
When people say that you will have spotting (mucous plug stuff) is that actually blood like red, or is it brownish? My discharge is changing color. I am like a ripening fruit or something.

Okay, mine's changing color too...

Just took a bath and... ew. After the fact I put on new panties and ...ew.

I'm google searching it, then might have to call the mw tomorrow. I don't feel an infection or anything, but this color is not right...

I am mucus woman : I have had mucus every single day of my life since starting my cycle - actually before.

I can see why it is weird if you don't always have it and then to have it in pregnancy but I literally don't have dry days at all, ever.

So for me it's no big deal. Throughout pregnancy I have thin, watery, thick, goopy, white, clear, yellow, brownish, pinkish, clumpy, boogery, pluggy mucus. I am not phased, I'm just glad I have mucus and have gotten used to the fact that it doesn't mean anything.

Just lost my mucus plug last night!!! Hopefully the time is near!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Actually...a really useful post. Pre-pregnancy and during, I always wondered if I was "battling off" infections because of all the changes that go on day to day. I had picked up the coorelation between sugary splurgest and mild itching down there, but otherwise, no clue. Good to info know.

OOOH! Congratulations! By the way, so did I, in pieces, but I don't think it's "that time" yet.

I have just a small amount of discharge on my panties and it's usually a clear to milky white.

However lately when I wipe I sometimes get stringy snotty green stuff. I know most people wouldn't think green is normal, but it's fine for me. It looks just like the stuff that comes out of my nose.

Never in either of my other pregnancies did I ever get any bloody show or any signs of blood. It's always been the green snot.
