My baby was born! On his own time! I want to type up the whole birth story, but time keeps slipping away from me. The short version is: went into labor at 12:35 AM on 2-21, arrived at the hospital around 5 AM, and he was born at 6:33 AM. It was almost completely natural -- I had lidocaine for an episiotomy, but no painkillers or medications or interventions, otherwise. It was a really good labor and delivery experience. Not painless, but good. I feel strong and wonderful. And, uh, dead tired, but yeah.
