If your first baby came early, when did no. 2 arrive?

Hi ladies,

My son was born at 37 weeks and I'm almost 37 weeks pregnant now with baby number two. I'm ready for her if she decides to come early, and as long as I make it to Monday, that's a green light for a homebirth. But I don't want to rush her into coming early...

For others who had an early first baby, did your second come early as well?

Anyone know what the stats are on this?

My first was born @ 36 weeks (5hrs active labor) and my second @ 37 weeks (2 hr total labor)

DD was born around 38.5 weeks (not so much early as earlier than expected!) and DS as born at 41 weeks to the day.

ETA: With dd I experienced SROM; with ds, my waters didn't break until 3 contractions from the end.

I expereince SROM with DS -- at week 38 and 1 day ------- it is MORE common to have it again is 2, 3, 6th birth after having it with your first?

First - 38 wks, Second - 41.5 weeks.

Dd3 - 11 days late (she was OP though - I really think she'd have been early if she wasn't)

I don't know.. my 36 weeker was OP as well.
