I don't know if this is the right place to post it as it is not a vaccine per say, but they are pushing it here in the Midwest like it is some kind of miracle that will save everyone from dying from the flu. I know that the averages for healthy people dying of the flu are still on average this year, but there have been some cases that I believe have been sensationalized to push for the vaccine. It was reported about a month ago that they had so much flu shot left they didn't know what they were going to do.
Personally, we are just coming off of having the flu for a week and it was frustrating because I made the mistake of telling my dad we were sick and of course he went off because we haven't gotten our flu shots(he knows we don;t vax which is also a contentious issue for him). I just told him I wasn't debating it with him, but it would be nice to have some really concise points besides I feel really uncomfortable with getting a flu shot.
