Is anyone having symptoms yet? (TMI) - Page 5

I bought a flavored seltzer water yesterday and that seemed to help the nausea a bit. But, I have had those moments where a coke sounds really good too, though

Funny that you said that Laura I just discovered flavored seltzer water the other day and I love it! Seems to prevent gas when I drink it with food. Calorie free too!

I just switched to Rainbow Light Just Once prenatals yesterday and I've had mild nausea both yesterday and today. Coincidence? Should I take them at bedtime instead of with breakfast?

Insomnia is kicking in now. Exhausted all day, can't wait to get to bed, then can't sleep when I'm in bed. Repeat the cycle. Gah!

Prevent gas???

I'm SO buying the seltzer water after work today!

I just found out today! Yeehaw! Now some things are making sense...last week I started getting little pimples all over my face...I never break out! Then Sunday I was suddenly so tired I felt like I was high, then it passed. Now my head just feels swimmy today...and I can suddenly smell the spot on the carpet where my puppy peed two weeks ago, even though we cleaned it. In fact, I smell pee EVERYWHERE! Ew!!

Also started craving potato chips last week, I usually hate those. I think it's passing though, thank goodness. What a waste of calories!

Please, oh please!!: Make the ketchup flavored potato chips cravings go away!!: I cannot eat anything but these chips. I try and have to spit everything out. Making me gag! Soooooo weird. I usually love fresh fruit and veggies. Now I cannot even smell them. Oh well, There is potasium in potato's, RIGHT?

Oh, and I am very testy! Sorry my loving DH!

I just got my BFP yesterday! Had to test again today to make sure it was real! Yeehaw! I thought we missed it this month but DH says he had a good feeling...but now my super-sniffer is on overdrive! Especially animal smells...dog smells, old pee places on the carpet I thought I cleaned, and last night one of the dogs came over to say hi with her rawhide in her mouth... EW!!!! I almost had to leave the room!

No cravings yet other than last week's potato chip-fest which makes sense now (I hate potato chips), thank god that passed, but I definitely feel the beginnings of potential morning sickness. Not actually sick yet, just metallic taste in my mouth.

Had a cup of half-caffeinated coffee this morning, I hadn't planned on completely giving it up cuz I'm SOOOO addicted, was just gonna cut down, cuz now they say a little bit is ok, but it just didn't taste right! I had chamomile last night (usually hate tea) and it was great! Helped me sleep without my sleep meds, yay! My body seems to be adjusting how it needs to without my trying!

Oh, also very thirsty, and considering I usually drink a lot of water already, I'm peeing A LOT!

I'm just nervous about getting too excited, ya know? It's only 4 weeks, still a risky time. Anyone else have those fears? I wish I could just relax and enjoy it!

To all the chip cravers out there - I definitely craved potatoes last time. Seemed like one of the few things that made me feel okay.

Grace24, I am definitely nervous and have lots of fears. I'm really looking forward to hearing that heart beat and feeling a little relief.

I am also sooo scared! I have been feeling period-type cramping off and on. It doesn't hurt, it is just uncomfortable. My mom says all her pregnancies felt like this, so that makes me feel a little better...

My main symptom is sleeping all the time. I used to never have to sleep!
No kidding...I just crashed out on the couch...I didn't even actually sleep and all of a sudden it passed like it never even happened! Weird! Now I'm totally awake!

The flip side of daytime narcoleptic fits...insomnia...check...

Thanks for the selzer water tip. It is helping.

I am also still cramping a little off and on and it does make me feel nervous but I've heard from tons of people that it's a common preg symptom.

Also just took a 2 hour nap this afternoon. I'm so tired and my stomach is so blah. Yea pregnancy symptoms.

I'm rather asymptomatic still. Not bloated, not terribly gassy, not too extra hungry, not nauseous, just a bit extra tired. And a little cramping. I must be pregnant with a boy, because this is very not normal for me. I'm usually unable to cook at all by this point. And last time I couldn't handle anything that was spicy at all (Sonic's chicken fingers were spicy to me at the time). Everything had to be totally bland or it would make me throw up. It was awful and I was definitely feeling it all by this point. It makes me a little nervous, but overall I'm happy to not be feeling sick or too much extra hungry. And bowel issues are not worse than normal which is also very odd.

Aimeeandbrian I had AF-type cramps for the first few weeks after the BFP. They seem to have gone away now but like you said, they're pretty normal. Your uterus is stretching!

Tara glad the seltzer water helped.

Alisha sounds like you hit the jackpot! Yay for no symptoms!

I'm feeling pretty lucky here too. Exactly 7 weeks today and I haven't had m/s yet. I feel a little queasy sometimes and there's a weird metallic taste in my mouth but other than that I'm good! The bloating has even gone away (almost) entirely! Those of you feeling huge and bloated, there's light at the end of the tunnel!

Oh jeez, I guess you're right!

I'm not even 4 weeks yet, and I've been feeling crummy for two days now. Nausea already, and super bloated and crampy. And exhausted, but that's probably the extra progesterone. And today at our church fundraiser I almost puked at the sight of the wiggling, jiggling custard pie, and the smell of corned beef made my tummy toss. I didn't have ANY m/s with dd, so this is all foreign to me.

Dee I'm happy to hear the bloating goes away...I'm 4w 2d and my pants are tighter already...but I did just wash them...and for a couple days ate some pretty fattening stuff and haven't done my workouts for several days. (That's probably why!) I got worried when a book I saw said by week 8 you should only have gained a pound or two...ack! But I think it's just what I was eating.

The super-smell thing has faded, replaced by achey muscles and overwhelming moments of narcolepsy! I swear I can feel my uterus stretching at times...feels like my abs are sore as though I did a bunch of situps, then it's gone. Weird.

Still can't believe it, I did another test this morning to make sure again! Still BFP!
