I love the organic prefolds! They are so great for newborns and they make soft doublers for older babies! They are SO SOFT

I like the one size for babies up to about 22lb, then the rise was too short!

the fabric was great!

I loved the side snap style and used it for ages on bean! It worked wonderfully for us. Very absorbent!

and organic too!

I have several of the one-sized - I useded them for months at night with a doubler. As LaLa said, however, they do only fit to about 22 lbs. That was fine - I knew that when I bought them that they wouldn't fit as long as advertised, but I would have been really disappointed if I hadn't known. I think they are a reasonable price for an organic diaper. My dh loved the metal snaps, too. Wonderful fabric! I haven't tried the "sized" diapers but they might be nice for larger babies.

just wanted to add, they are discontinuing the metal snaps because they were having trouble staying on with all that fabric and within the next year they will be bringing out the diapers with velcro instead

I have been using both the one-size and the sized UTNs (and with snap-in doublers) for my DD and DS since they were newborns. I used to love love love them.

But the issues have been mounting since they've been getting bigger, more mobile, and wetting more:

*They are very bulky, especially with doubler.
*They feel completely soaked when wet.
*They take FOREVER to dry.
*The snaps on the one-size don't hold well enough. (Glad to hear they're coming out with velcro LaLa!)

In short, I find that I like them less and less as DCs are getting older. We have almost completely switched over to ME Sandy's which I like a lot, but I miss that soft, lofty ORGANIC 100% cotton!

I got 4 organic cotton UTN prefolds as part of a trade and have found that they make *great* stuffing for large pocket diapers. Perfect size and very absorbant.

I have a couple of the newer style with Velcro (although they're not one-size, as the tag says "small"). I love that the cotton is organic. The diaper is super thick, which is good as I have a super-soaker baby. BUT they take FOREVER to dry. We have to take our laundry to coin w/d's in another building and after two dry cycles I still have to hang them over a fan overnight before he can wear them. If I had a w/d in my apartment I'd buy more of these dipes but since I don't I'll just stick with what I have.
